According to the 2010 census, Monee has a total region of 4.42 square miles (11.45 km2), all land. As of the census of 2000, there were 2,939 citizens , 1,204 homeholds, and 872 families residing in the village.
There were 1,204 homeholds out of which 26.5% had kids under the age of 18 living with them, 63.4% were married couples living together, 6.3% had a female homeholder with no husband present, and 27.5% were non-families.
In the village, the populace was spread out with 21.5% under the age of 18, 6.2% from 18 to 24, 34.6% from 25 to 44, 22.1% from 45 to 64, and 15.6% who were 65 years of age or older.
