Lombard is a village in Du - Page County, Illinois, United States, and a suburb of Chicago.

The United States Enumeration Bureau estimated the populace in 2004 to be 42,975. The village's challenge to the Enumeration Bureau regarding its official 2010 populace was accepted, revising the official populace of the village from 43,165 to 43,395. Gazebo in Lombard Illinois Lombard's Maple Street Chapel, assembled in 1870, served as the village's first town hall and library.
